We use Customer Voice in connection with conducting external surveys and other data collection from users of our services. We use Microsoft Forms for internal research.

We also use Verian AS as a supplier of and data processor for enquiry surveys among the users of our services. The answer will then be available to Verian AS, while for us only to be available to the doctor in anonymized form. Verian AS deletes the answer when the agreement to conduct an investigation is terminated, at the latest within two years – or sooner – if we ask them to do so.

Answering the questionnaires is always voluntary. Recipients of the surveys can easily opt out of receiving such surveys in the future.

In order to be able to send out electronic inquiries about enquiry surveys, we process names and email addresses. We then retrieve names and email addresses from our personal register of users of our services, our register of subscribers to newsletters and registrations for our events and in the CRM system.

The Research Council processes personal data based on our legitimate interest, in line with GDPR Article 6 (1) letter f. This means that we can process personal data if it is necessary to safeguard an important interest that is more important than the protection of the privacy of the individual. Our main interest is to improve our role as a national research strategic administrative body, which we believe will benefit both our users and society. We believe this interest outweighs the concern for privacy. If you would like more information about the route we have considered this, we can provide you with details on the driving request.

Data on subject matter experts recruited via Customer Voice is stored in the Research Council's CRM system for maintenance and updating of contact information for up to five years from the time of registration.
